I feel deeply honoured and really stoked to be one of the organisers in the Committee for 2017.
This year will be the 3rd time I will be attending Menergy, at the previous 2 gatherings that I attended, I facilitated workshops and was a Tribal Group Leader both years as well. Being a part of developing healthy, vibrant and much more sustainable communities has & is a huge aspect of my life – that I give a lot to in various ways like hosting workshops, being in Men’s groups, having healthy discussions with people, guiding people towards more natural ways of living.
Why am I involved in Menergy?
I love getting involved in gatherings and other events where Men get to gather to connect in ways that feel, to me, to be more genuine, respectful and honouring of every man as he is. It is greatly essential and important to me to be involved in rekindling a sense of true worth and value in men, so they can feel that they are valuable and valued people in the communities they are connected to.
Menergy is one of the places and times where Men can gather in friendship and mate-ship in a very different way, as it’s not “trying” (and often failing) to connect through alcohol, television, sport, putting women, other men or (ultimately) themselves down so they can try and feel better. Menergy creates a safe haven for men to have the opportunity to experience being themselves and “really with” other men, in a more supportive & less threatening way.
